About

Michaela Goncalves completed her undergraduate degree in Biokinetics at the University of Witwatersrand in 2020. Michaela was selected to complete her BHSc (Honours) in Biokinetics at the University of Witwatersrand for 2021. In 2022, Michaela completed her internship at the Department of Exercise Science and Sports Medicine at the University of Witwatersrand, working in academic programs and research alongside her professors and supervisors.

Michaela is currently completing her Master of Science in Medicine by research dissertation with a special interest in geriatric health and fall prevention. Michaela has a passion for orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation and hopes to explore and excel in additional rehabilitative methods such as hydrotherapy and sports massage.
