Michelle Willenberg



Michelle Willenberg completed her undergraduate degree in Sports Development at the University of Johannesburg in 2014 and did her BSc (Honours) in Biokinetics at the University of Witwatersrand in 2015.

Michelle completed her internship at Samantha Dunbar Inc. in 2016.

Michelle has a passion for Orthopaedic rehabilitation and lower back or pelvic dysfunction. Michelle has also done a Pilates course and enjoys the science behind movement patterns and ensuring that muscles perform the function that they are designed to do, in the most efficient manner possible. Having done a Pilates course, Michelle uses the principles of Pilates as a rehabilitation tool and enjoys instructing Pilates classes.

Michelle understands and realises that it’s not just about the symptom but as the person as a whole and likes to investigate the cause of the symptom to ensure that her patient’s live their best lives in the vessel they were gifted. Michelle likes her patients to walk away feeling empowered, educated and aware of their bodies and how certain movements or compensations can be affecting their pain.

It’s important for you to use your body to live YOUR best life, under YOUR terms and not have your body use you.
