Visceral Manipulation
Visceral

Visceral manipulation consists of gentle, location specific manual forces.

The tissues making up your viscera (internal organs) can become inflamed and lose their normal motion. This treatment thus encourages normal mobility, tone and tissue motion of your viscera their connective tissue, and other areas of the body.

Many factors can cause inflammation of the tissues including infections, diet, environmental toxins and emotional stress. The purpose of visceral manipulation is to re-establish harmony and increase spatial awareness in the body, so as to enhance its internal mechanism for better health.

Visceral techniques are used to treat areas of decreased or altered motion, thereby restoring better physiological motion, which in turn improves organ function.

This treatment is used for conditions such as:

Heartburn.

Headaches.

Sleep disorders.

Crohn’s disease.

Joint pain.

Emotional disorders.

Anxiety.
