Craniosacral Therapy

The craniosacral rhythm is the movement of the cerebrospinal fluid around the central nervous system, namely your brain and spinal cord.

Everyday stresses, injury or dysfunction can cause tissue tightness and abnormalities in the craniosacral system, and thus cause pain or dysfunction elsewhere in the body.

Treatment

Treatment encourages tissues to move and release using gentle palpation. This helps reduce restrictions in the soft tissue surrounding the central nervous system. Normalising the environment around the brain and spinal cord will positively influence the body’s overall functioning.
