Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (mHBOT)

Our mild hyperbaric chamber offers a safe, non-invasive therapy where you breathe concentrated oxygen in a pressurised environment. This process helps increase the amount of oxygen your blood can carry, supporting your body’s natural healing and recovery processes. Many people use mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy to promote recovery from injury, reduce inflammation, support energy levels, and enhance overall wellbeing.

What to Wear

  • Comfortable clothing such as gym wear, leggings, or shorts and a T-shirt.
  • Avoid wearing perfumes, oils, or lotions before your session, as strong scents and residues may affect air quality.
  • Shoes are not worn inside the chamber, so socks are recommended.

What to Bring

  • A book, magazine, or headphones if you’d like some entertainment while you relax inside the chamber.
  • A water bottle to hydrate before and after your session.
  • Any prescribed inhalers or medical items if needed (please let your therapist know in advance).

What to Expect at Your Appointment

  1. Check-in & Preparation – Your therapist will explain the session, answer questions, and ensure you’re comfortable.
  2. Entering the Chamber – You’ll lie down or sit comfortably inside the chamber while it is gently pressurised.
  3. The Session – Most sessions last between 60–90 minutes. You may feel a mild pressure change in your ears, similar to being on an aeroplane.
  4. During Therapy – You can rest, read, or listen to music while you breathe oxygen-rich air.
  5. After the Session – The pressure will be slowly released, and you can return to your day feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Mild hyperbaric therapy is non-invasive and safe, with little to no downtime. Most people find it calming and energising, making it an excellent addition to their recovery and wellness routine.
